明治 7年　　 秦泉寺小学校として開校
　　　22年　　三谷小学校（１２年創設）を合併し
　　　　　　　 秦尋常小学校となる
　　 44年　　高等科併置し秦尋常高等小学校となる
昭和22年　 高知市立秦小学校となる
